Unit 5 continues to closely monitor and plan for the rapidly changing Coronavirus/COVID-19 health issue in Illinois and the US.
As of March 16, there are 14,871 CASES OF COVID-19 in McLean County.

LATE START WEDNESDAY - MAY 5Wednesday, May 5, is a late start day for elementary students. Classes will begin one hour later than usual. Elementary classes will start at 8:45 am. Students should be at their designated bus stop one hour later than their regularly scheduled pickup time. Early childhood students will start at the regular time. NO SCHOOL - APRIL 23There will be no school Thursday, April 23, due to a School Improvement Day. Enjoy the long weekend.
NEW 9th GRADE DENTAL MANDATES
There is a new mandate for a 9th grade dental exam.• All Illinois children in kindergarten, Grade 2, Grade 6, and Grade 9 are required to have an oral health examination.• Examinations must be performed by a licensed dentist, and he/she must sign the Proof of School Dental Examination form.• Each child is required to present proof of examination by a dentist prior to May 15 of the school year.• School dental examinations must have been completed within the 18 months prior to the May 15 deadline.CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
