STRATEGIC PLANNING
STRATEGIC PLANNING & COMMUNITY SURVEY
McLean County Unit District No. 5 is working to engage students, staff, families and community members as we begin the strategic planning process this fall. Strategic planning is an opportunity to define our vision for Unit 5, examine our current realities, and identify priorities and develop a plan to achieve them. Over the next several months, there will be opportunities for feedback and engagement from all stakeholders.
Our first step was to survey secondary students, staff members, families, and community members.
The results of this survey will be used to help set the vision and focus for the district. Unit 5 is also hosting community engagement sessions to gather feedback.
There were also two community engagement sessions, where people heard a short presentation and then broke into groups and heard smaller, more detailed presentations and offered feedback.
Here is a link to the overview session.
All members of the Unit 5 community - students, parents, staff members, and community representatives - were invited to participate.
We hope you will work with us as we guide Unit 5 into the future and work to "educate each student to achieve personal excellence."
