K.J.H.S. Cavaliers - Daily Announcements

Good morning Cavaliers - today is Tuesday, February 12th, and these are your daily announcements.

The Yearbook meeting originally scheduled for after school has been cancelled today.  Thank you!

Students - want some free Cav Cash?  Try the Math Problem of the Week posted in Hallway 1 (K Street) on the yellow poster.  Bring your solution to Mrs. Priller in Room 101, or give to your teacher to put in Mrs. Priller’s mailbox by this Friday for some free Cav Cash.  All Kingsley students are welcome to participate!

If you are interested in participating in Track, registration must be completed through the Kingsley Athletics website.  Please have your parents complete this prior to the first practice on February 25th.  Gold slips will not be issued through the Main Office.  Thank you!

Betabrain 2019 is fast approaching!  Challenge your STEAM skills and help the fairy tale villains’ descendants undo the wrongs from the past.  Go to www.unit5.org/betabrain, check out the flyer on the What’s Kickin’ at Kingsley boards, see Mr. Oates, or ask your science teacher for more info.

Remember Cavs - be engaged.  Be responsible.  Be respectful.  Keep it classy Kingsley!

*Parents Only - Please remember that students need to be vomit/fever free for 24 hours (without the help of medicine) before you send them back to school.  Thank you!

*Parents Only - In case of inclement weather, please check the Unit 5 website www.unit5.org, the KJHS website www.unit5.org/kjhs, Twitter @kingsleyjhs, or WJBC for cancellations.

*Parents Only - Kingsley Junior High School is now on Twitter.  Please follow us: @kingsleyjhs.

*Parents Only - If you are reporting an absence, late arrive or early dismissal, please call the attendance hotline at 557-4456.  This number is open 24 hours a day!  By doing so, your student will be ready and waiting for you to be picked up in the Main Office.  Failure to do this results in a delay for the parent!  Parents must come into the office to sign their student in or out of the building.  We do not accept handwritten notes from home for any type of absence at the junior high level.  Thank you for your support.
