Good morning Cavaliers - today is Wednesday, January 9th, and these are your daily announcements.
Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball Teams on their victories over Parkside last night. Come support both teams tomorrow at 4:30 when take on Olympia here at KJ. Go Cavs!
Congratulations also to your Wrestling Team on their two victories last night at home! They defeated Champaign Edison 52 to 37; and Clinton 56 to 46. Good job wrestlers and good luck tonight against Mahomet and Lincoln. Please dismiss the wrestlers at 2:30 today. Thank you!
Come out tonight at 4:30 and cheer on your Lady Cavs Volleyball Teams who will be playing Mahomet. Good luck ladies!
Attention Student Council - there is no meeting today after school! Your first meeting of the new year will be next Wednesday from 3:45 - 4:15, and all members should attend. Thank you!
Happy New Year from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! FCA will not be meeting for the next two weeks, and will resume on Wednesday, January 23rd. The members pray that everyone’s 2nd semester is greater than your 1st! See you on the 23rd!
Are you interested in having a fun time playing games, and learning about the Bible? Then the Kingsley Bible Club (KBC) is for you! Everyone is welcome, and you never know what fun prizes and food will be involved. KBC is meeting tomorrow after school until 4:30 in Room 406. We hope to see you there!

By doing so, your student will be ready and waiting for you to be picked up in the Main Office. Failure to do this results in a delay for the parent! Parents must come into the office to sign their student in or out of the building. We do not accept handwritten notes from home for any type of absence at the junior high level.
