K.J.H.S. Cavaliers - Daily Announcements

Good morning Cavaliers - today is Monday, November 5th, and these are your daily announcements.

Congrats to Mrs. Leverton’s 7th hour class.  With 61% participation, they showed the most School Spirit on Friday.  Remember to keep up that CavPride, and Frieda might show up in your classroom!

NIOS will meet tomorrow in Room 309 from 3:45 - 4:30 to work on the Culture Fair.  See you there!

Good luck to the Boys’ Basketball Teams who will be taking on Evans tonight here at Kingsley starting at 5:30.  Come out and cheer them on!

There will be an Open Gym for 7th Grade Girls’ Volleyball tomorrow from 7:15 - 8:15 a.m. in Neuman Gym.

Remember Cavs - be engaged.  Be responsible.  Be respectful.  Keep it classy Kingsley!

*Parents Only - Please remember that students need to be vomit/fever free for 24 hours (without the help of medicine) before you send them back to school.  Thank you!

*Parents Only - In case of inclement weather, please check the Unit 5 website www.unit5.org, the KJHS website www.unit5.org/kjhs, Twitter http://www.twitter.com/U5_KJHS, or WJBC for cancellations.

*Parents Only - Kingsley Junior High School is now on Twitter.  Please follow us: ‘@U5_KJHS.’  Don’t use Twitter?  You can visit http://www.twitter.com/U5_KJHS.

*Parents Only - Parents, at any time if your address or phone number changes, please notify Mrs. Dierkes at 557-4899 so your child’s information in Skyward will be current.  Incorrect information results in a delay in our staff contacting you either by phone, mail, or School Reach.  Thank you!

*Parents Only - If you are reporting an absence, late arrive or early dismissal, please call the attendance hotline at 557-4456.  This number is open 24 hours a day!  By doing so, your student will be ready and waiting for you to be picked up in the Main Office.  Failure to do this results in a delay for the parent!  Parents must come into the office to sign their student in or out of the building.  We do not accept handwritten notes from home for any type of absence at the junior high level.  Thank you for your support.
