Mrs. Glatt and Ms. Bettis are proud to announce a brand new club for book-loving Chargers! The Caudills & More Book Club will have its first-ever meeting this Thursday, September 26th from 3:45 to 4:45 in the IMC. This time, we will talk Caudill award nominees, eat cookies, and plan how YOU want this new club to work. We’ll meet every other Thursday, starting on the 26th. Hope to see you there!

 

For all Chargers interested in wrestling this year; starting Sept 17th the wrestling mats will be available (open mats) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will have an opportunity to work out and try your hand at the great sport of wrestling. 

 

Attention all boys interested in basketball:  The first 8th grade open gym will be on Wednesday, Sep 25th,  from 7 - 8:30 pm. 6th grade open gym will be on Monday, Sep 30th, from 6:45 - 8:00 am and 7th grade open gym will be on Tuesday, Oct 1st, from 6:45 - 8:00 am.  You can attend open gyms for your grade level only. There are flyers in the office that list all future open gym dates and times so please stop by and pick one up.  

 

Chess club meets every Wednesday after school until 5:00 PM. “CHECK” it out!

 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes was a huge success. We had a blast with great games, praise and worship time, and of course awesome snacks. Join us today from 3:45-4:30 in Mrs. Carey’s room. 

We will also host an all school See you at the pole day on Wednesday September 25- meet us at the flag at pole for an all school prayer at 8:15

 

Have you ever been bullied or seen someone else get bullied? Did you want to help? If so, come to Not in Our School (otherwise known as NIOS) where we talk about ways to keep Chiddix safe and learn to be upstanders. Our next meeting is on Thursday, October 3 in the IMC. Ask Ms. Bettis, Ms. Chambers, or Ms. Glatt  for more information!
