Nominations for Wildcat Wall of Fame Being Accepted
Nominations for the 2021-22 Wildcat Wall of Fame class are now being accepted. The Wall of Fame Honors past students, faculty and other individuals for their extraordinary efforts either as a Wildcat or for work they have done after they have graduated. The criteria is below::
Nominees may or may not have attended Normal West
Nominees can be individuals, groups, or teams
- Students can be nominated after they graduate from Normal West.
- Faculty/Staff members can be nominated any time after they retire.
Nominees who are considered should have:
- Accomplished outstanding achievement(s) during or after their time spent at Normal West.
- Significantly contributed to our school, community, or society by their leadership, character, and service in a way that has left a lasting impact, established traditions, or set a standard of excellence.
- Achieved excellence in their field or area of expertise that others will aspire to at a school, local, state, or national level that is significant enough that possibly a similar feat will not be achieved again in the near or distant future.
- Accomplishments or achievements that stand out as truly exemplary to people with little or no knowledge of the nominee's field or area of expertise.
You can nominate a worthy candidate either by filling out the Google Form or completing the .pdf application form and emailing it to Tim Franz at franztp@unit5.org o mailing it to the school at c/o Tim Franz, 501 North Parkside Rd., Normal, IL 61761.
Applications are due by May 15th.
