Are you a young woman who wants to learn about engineering?  Come make a self propelling vehicle with friends and have fun while doing it too!  Where:  Room 65.  Date:  Thursday, April 27.  Time:  3:45, after school.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.  If you have any questions, ask Rana Abbed.

Juniors and Seniors -

Prom tickets are on sale now through Thursday, April 27 during the lunch hours ONLY, no exceptions!  The theme this year is Masquerade and tickets are only $10.  Prom will be held at the Parke Hotel on G.E. Road on Saturday, April 29 from 8:00-11:00 PM.  Date request forms are available now in the main office.

Juniors & Seniors -

Come enjoy a taste of New Orleans at After Prom! Lots of new entertainment, games and food--including Laser Tag, Mr. Lawler and Mr. Bollman in the Ticket Taxi, Mrs. Runyon giving haunted cemetery tours and a mentalist from America's Got Talent!

This is the last day that tickets will be sold before school and at lunch outside the cafeteria.  Everyone will get a t-shirt in their size choice if they purchase a ticket on or before April 21. After that, there are no guarantees on t-shirts. Ticket price is $10.

Are you a performer?  Do you like making a visual splash?  Then the NCHS Color Guard is for you!  What is Color Guard you ask?  Color Guard is the visual representation of the music performed by the NCHS Marching Band using elements like costumes, flags, dance, mock rifles and sabers.  Workshops will be held in room 54 at Normal Community High School today, April 25th, 26th and 27th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  No previous knowledge or experience is required.  Information flyers are available in the office.  

This week's senior of the week is JD Villafuerte. JD's favorite school lunch is the taco, favorite teachers are Mr. Robinson and Ms. Urbance, favorite movies are Warrior and End of Watch.  JD plans to attend St. Ambrose University and play football in the fall. Something you may  not have known about JD is that he has webbed toes!

Mu Alpha Theta is a high school math honorary for Juniors and Seniors that have an A average in their math classes. You can get an application from your math teacher or Mrs. Feeney in room 221.  You are currently a member if you paid your fee last year, so do not fill out an application this year, see Mrs. Feeney if you have questions.  The application and membership fee of $10 for new members must be turned in by Thursday April 26th if you qualify.  


Friday, April 28th at 4:30 in the IMC. Please join us if you are interested in trying out for the NCHS Dance Team.  You will receive a packet of information and forms that will need to be completed and returned. Questions regarding tryouts will be answered at that time.  Coach Ewalt
