Fed ChallengeFed Challenge is an academic competition designed to give students an in depth understanding of real-world economics. Teams play the role of monetary policymakers by analyzing economic conditions and recommending a course for monetary policy.

Activities:Students meet after school approximately once a week beginning in November to research the the American economy. After completing research, students work together to craft a 15 minute presentation and accompanying PowerPoint that details the current economic situation in the U.S. and makes a policy recommendation for the Federal Reserve Bank. In April, the team competes in the Fed Challenge Competition at the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago.
Listen to the announcements for an informational meeting in November. Weekly after school meetings will start in December and continue until the competition in April.
