Are you interested in Girls Basketball? Open Gyms are every Monday and Wednesday night at 6:15.
Normal West Best Buddies will have a Peer & Associate Meeting on Tuesday, September 28th from 3:30 - 4:00 in Room 113. If you are unable to attend, please email Ms. Lueschen or Ms. Geisleman prior to the meeting.
There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Thursday, September 23rd in Room 2000. Members may attend either the morning session at 7:45 or the afternoon session at 3:35
Homecoming tickets will go on sale starting Monday, September 27th during lunch periods. The schedule for who can buy tickets and when is on the Normal West website as well as posters that are scattered throughout the building. Make sure to bring your ID with you when purchasing tickets.
Ewing Cultural Center will be closed on the day of our Homecoming, 10/9. Please do not use their grounds for Homecoming pictures.
The Guest Form for the Homecoming Dance is available from your assistant principal ONLY. Completed forms must be received by October 1st at 3:30pm for approval - NO EXCEPTIONS. Guests must be at least a Freshman in HS and under the age of 21. Please check the form for further requirements.
Lifetouch will be at Normal West on September 21, 2021 for picture retakes. They will be located in room 150B and will be available for pictures all day until 3:00 p.m. If you have not had your picture taken for the yearbook, please plan to stop down during your lunch hour or study hall.
Join the Spanish Club in kicking off the Hispanic Heritage Month on September 23rd from 3:30 - 4:30. Meet in room 1006. Come with an appetite to learn.
Student Council is hosting a fundraiser on Tuesday at Chipotle on Veteran’s. Please help support us!!!
The first business club meeting is Monday 9/20 after school in room 2012 from 3:40-4:40. You should have gotten an invite to the Google classroom to attend the meeting
"This year's fall production, 30 Plays from Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, will be performed on September 30-October 2 at 7pm in the Normal West auditorium. Tickets will be between 5 and 10 dollars and will be on sale in the atrium before the show begins. Each night before the show, there will be a party in the north parking lot from 5pm-7pm, including live music, activities, and food trucks. Come hungry for a full night of fun!"
Attention Junior Powder Puff girls: We will be having a meeting Friday, October 1st from 3:35-3:45 in Room 1005 to discuss upcoming powder puff practices and the game. We will have practice Monday, October 4th and Tuesday, October 5th from 3:45-5:15 next to the Champion Fields Parking Lot. Please make the necessary arrangements at work. Remember, you need to be at all of the meetings/practices to be eligible to play in the game Wednesday, October 6th. Please see Mr. Klokkenga for your permission slip and please bring it completed to the October 1st meeting. Any questions, see Mr. Klokkenga.

From September 15th - October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month commemorates the contributions of Hispanic and Latinx Americans. To celebrate, discover the stunning books on display in the IMC — spanning from memoirs to graphic novels — by some of our favorite Hispanic and Latinx authors. Stop by the IMC to check one out today!
If you have 7 classes and would like to drop an elective class for a study hall, you must turn in the green drop form to the counseling office by Friday, October 1st. Make sure it is signed by your parent or guardian. Check Infinite Campus after the form is turned in so you know when the schedule change is in effect! Ask your counselor if you have any questions!
