The CJHS PTO serves to support the CJHS students, teachers, staff, and administrators throughout the school year and we encourage you to join us in this process.     2019-20 Board Opportunities: The CJHS PTO Board has the following opportunities available…

    PTO President: The PTO President serves as the leader of the PTO. This role involves coordinating the efforts of the PTO Board, organizing meeting agendas, leading PTO meetings (5 per year), disseminating information to the Board and school community, and collaborating with school administration. Interested individuals should contact Elisa Palmer at chiddixpto@gmail.com.


    Spirit Wear Coordinator: The Spirit Wear Coordinator is in charge of the PTO’s biannual spirit wear sales. This role involves working with Minerva and the PTO Board to select spirit wear designs, advertising product availability, answering questions related to spirit wear orders, and coordinating the delivery of orders to the school. Interested individuals should contact Julie Mathey at jdmathey@gmail.com.


    PTO Secretary: The PTO Secretary serves as the key recorder of discussions and decisions made at PTO meetings. The PTO Secretary works closely with the PTO President to ensure accurate depiction and archival of PTO records. Interested individuals should contact Sara Strupp at strupp6802@yahoo.com.


    Hospitality Coordinator: The Hospitality Coordinator serves as the leader of hospitality events at the school. Responsibilities include setting dates of events, determining event structure and menus, and sending volunteer needs to the volunteer coordinator for distribution. There are usually 4-5 events each year and they include things such as parent teacher conferences, winter welcome back luncheon, and teacher appreciation week.     Volunteer Coordinator: This individual is responsible for updating the volunteer data base and sending out requests for volunteers as opportunities become available. The work involved for this position can be worked around an individual’s schedule and is all done electronically (primarily through Sign up Genius), which means that it can be done remotely. This is a very flexible position and perfect for someone who wants to be involved but does not have a lot of time. Interested individuals should contact ElisaPalmer at elpalmer98@gmail.com.
