State Farm® Good Neighbor Grant™ ProgramState Farm awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible associate (active employee, agent or retiree) who volunteers a minimum of 40 hours a year to an eligible nonprofit organization like Grove Elementary School. The State Farm® Good Neighbor Grant™ Program is a
great way for Grove Parents who work at State Farm to give their time and talent to our school.This program entails 3 easy steps:
Volunteer a minimum of 40 hours in a calendar year (January - December).
Submit the online Good Neighbor Grant Program application before March 31 each year.
State Farm sends a $500 grant to our school.
There are many avenues to become involved and feel a part of your child’s school experience on a day-to-day basis. It is importamt to note the hours do not need to be accumulated during the school day. Below are a few of the volunteering opportunitie we have at Grove.
Activities (Chess Club, Art Club, Scouts, Young Authors. etc.)
Committee work through the Grove PTO
Individual Classroom Volunteers
Lunch Room Volunteer
Market Day Volunteer
Classroom preparation for teacher - cut, laminate, organize, create, grade, etc. This type of volunteering can be done at home!
