  • Welcome to First Grade!  I am so excited to be back in first grade! I'm looking forward to a great year of learning! 
    My name is Mrs. Ronda Batty and I teach First Grade at Cedar Ridge Elementary School. I grew up in Normal and attended Unit 5 schools  (Glenn, Sugar Creek, Parkside, and Normal Community).  I graduated from Illinois State University in 1990. In 2002, I also received my master’s degree in reading from Illinois State.
