Meal Program Information

Breakfast
Students who eat school breakfast benefit nutritionally, have better attendance, perform better academically, and behave better in the classroom. Breakfast is served daily at all Unit 5 Schools before the official school start time. A variety of choices are offered for breakfast and always include fresh fruits, whole grains, and low fat or fat-free milk.

Lunch
School lunch provides a nutritionally balanced meal so students are ready to learn. Lunches for Unit 5 schools are planned with the goal of providing students with one-third of their Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for key nutrients and calories. By offering students a variety of foods, school lunch promotes good nutrition habits. For information on lunch meal times, contact your child's school or visit the school's web site.

Students purchase breakfast and lunch using their food service account. Cash is not accepted.
