Normal Community High School

The field of Sociology is about discovering the social forces at work in our lives and how they shape us while we simultaneously shape them. We will learn about and from some of the key figures within Sociology and related fields, insights the field has to teach us, and the tools of the trade. But our primary focus will be on developing our own sociological imaginations and a critical consciousness that will equip us to recognize the social forces at work in our lives and how we can better act to navigate them and affect positive social change.
