The PEAK Report
This report is sent home at the end of each week in your student's Friday folder. It provides you with a quick summary of your child's week.  We ask that you sign this and return it to your student's homeroom teacher each week via your student.  Feel free to add comments or questions.

    Caution Log

The caution log is a form located in each teacher's classroom used to track behavior and assignment completion concerns.  Students sign this log when an expectation is not followed.  There are 3 sections in the caution log: responsible/ready, classroom disruption, and assignment completion.  On Thursday of each week the data from each team teacher is combined and discussed.  Your child's homeroom teacher will then share this information with you on Friday via the PEAK report.

    Behavior Consequences
Students who sign the caution log 3 times in one week (not including assignment completion) must attend a detention the following Wednesday from 8:00 to 8:30 am OR 3:45 to 4:15 pm.  During this time, your student will work with a team teacher to discuss behavior or academic concerns and complete missing assignments.

Your student's homeroom teacher is his or her Language Arts teacher.  This teacher will conduct your child's parent-teacher conference.
    Google Classroom
Each teacher uses Google Classroom to assign work to students.  It includes resources posted by the teacher such as files, videos, lessons, and links to online resources.  Students may also be required to turn in digital homework through this system.  Students access this using their unit 5 username and password at www.classroom.google.com
