Booster Club Parent Representatives
Normal West Boosters Mission: To support all IHSA-sponsored activities and promote school spirit at Normal Community West High School.
As a Parent Rep for your team, you can expect to:
Attend bi-monthly meetings of the Boosters – 1st Wednesday each month at 6:30 pm in the IMC.
Present any fund requests from your team for review/approval at the bi-monthly Boosters meeting.
Attend one REQUIRED meeting - Parent Rep Open House/Fall Concession Lottery in August.
Determine (with Coach input) the number of concession dates your team wants to work (these dates are assigned in a lottery) and recruit parent volunteers from your team to work concession dates assigned. The team makes money on each date worked.
Participate in planning and execution of Boosters fundraising events (Fall Scrimmage, Raffle, State Farm Classic, Special Olympics, Winter Scrimmage).
About Normal West Boosters:
Boosters funds are raised from annual membership fees, indoor and outdoor concessions income, and fundraising events.
In times of continued education budget cuts and increased costs, the support provided by the Booster Club is more critical than ever before.
Membership fee levels range from $25-100.
Membership gifts vary by fee level and include: stadium blanket, stadium chair, and various Booster Exclusive clothing pieces.
