Educators Rising is having their first meet on November 17th, 7:30-8:15am in room 2005. If you are thinking of being any kind of teacher this is the perfect opportunity for you. Anyone is welcome! BSU, Nuestra Voz, Key Club, & Promise Council will be hosting a food drive until the end of this week. We will be collecting non-perishable items to donate to a local organization. The boxes for donations will be located in the main office and various classrooms. Check BSU's & Nuestra Voz instagram & bulletin boards for more information.
UP FOR A CHALLENGE? Try the Illinois Math League. You have 30 minutes to answer 6 questions and calculators are allowed! There are prizes for the top scorers per grade level. The next competition is this Tue 11/15 in Room 203 from 7:45-8:15 AM or 3:30-4:00 PM or during lunch in the Math Office (Room 201). If you have any questions, see your math teacher
The Annual Normal West Bands Craft Show is this Saturday, November 19th! There will be over 80 booths for fun shopping including handmade gifts and local vendors, concessions, fresh-baked cookies, Santa, and, of course, music.
Normal West PRIDE will meet Wednesday (November 16th) after school in room 1008. See Mrs. Long or Ms. Evans with any questions.

November is National Runaway Prevention Month. Project Oz is the only runaway and homeless youth provider in McLean County. How do I get involved? See the flyers posted on the What’s Up Wildcat boards for more information.
The Normal West Boxing Club will have a meeting about upcoming start dates for boxing. It’s extremely important to come to this meeting to learn about what you’ll need to start boxing. The meeting will be no more than 10-15 minutes in Room 109 on Thursday, November 17. See Mr. Rumps with any questions.
Non-winter sport athletes who are serious about making self-improvements, changing your physical appearance, enhancing your athletic abilities, and preparing for your next sport, then attend BFS (Bigger Faster Stronger Program) in the Weight room starting Monday, November 14th, from 3:45-5:00pm.
