At Unit 5, we value our Substitutes and want to make sure they have the best experience possible!
Here are some helpful resources for you as a potential Substitute or as a current Substitute.
New Substitutes
STEP ONE: LICENSE & REGISTRATION
Substitute Teacher's and Substitute Teaching Assistants must FIRST have a Substitute License registered with the Regional Office of Education (ROE #17). Please click the link below for more information on how to obtain your substitute license.
Become a Substitute Teaching Assistant
STEP TWO: COMPLETE THE UNIT 5 ONLINE APPLICATION
Once Licensed through the Regional Office of Education, you must complete the Unit 5 Online Application.
STEP THREE: SUBMIT YOUR MATERIALS TO UNIT 5
Once you have submitted your online application, please call Human Resources to schedule an appointment to complete your application process at 309-557-4400.
