About Mr. Beirne

Mr. Beirne is in his sixth year of teaching at Prairieland Elementary School and his 16th year of teaching overall. He has taught every grade from high school to Pre-K. 

Originally a brass musician, Corey plays several instruments and performs with many local musical organizations. He has performed in 40 states and 12 foreign countries. A proud alumnus of Illinois State University, Mr. Beirne holds a Bachelor and Master's in Music Education. 

Mr. Beirne is married and has two children, one in junior high and one in high school. He loves tacos and bunnies and is a National Board Certified Music Teacher.
