Hello! My name is Lindsay Bernardi and this will be my first year here at Brigham. I am thrilled to be a part of the teaching team and to get to work with early learners.

 

I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Millikin University in 2010 and have since taught Pre-K/ECSE in Rantoul, IL (2012-2014) and spent last year teaching 1st and 2nd grade in Ludlow, IL.

 

In addition to being a teacher I am also a wife and mother. My husband Brenden and I have 4 kiddos. Three 11 year old daughters in 6th grade and a 7 year old son who is in 2nd. I recently moved to Bloomington from Mahomet, IL and just LOVE the area. We spend our spare time going to the splash parks, zoo, State Farm Park and more. Other than taking care of my family some of my hobbies are reading( I LOVE to read children's books. Pete the Cat, Elephant and Piggie, I'm Bored, and The Book With No Pictures are some of my favorites to share with the classroom), and I am teaching myself how to crochet.
