    Hello and welcome to 3rd grade at Prairieland!
     
    My name is Kathy Rasch and I'm happy to be a part of the Prairieland family! I've been with Unit 5 schools since 2009. I have a B.A. in history/humanities from Carthage College, a B.A. in elementary education from MacMurray College and University of Wisconsin-Parkside and an M.S. in teaching and learning from Illinois State University.
    I grew up in Wisconsin and have always loved the Midwest - especially the change of seasons.
    Normal is where I call home today with my husband Marvin. Our adult son lives and works in town too.
    We enjoy reenacting the American Revolution and travelling together. I like spending time with family, listening to music, playing word games, going for walks, the color green, maps, and reading with a good cup of British tea.
     
    I look forward to a school year of growing and learning together!
