Fall Festival InformationOn Wednesday, October 31 we will have our annual costume parade at 1:15 pm (weather permitting). As per our tradition, we ask that costumes be school appropriate, no scary masks, blood, scary clowns, or weapons. Costumes portraying characters from horror movies are not allowed. (i.e. Scream, Freddy Kruger, Chucky, etc.).Students will leave the building from the north gym exit door. Students will file out along the outside south gym wall towards the shelter on the east side of our property. We will parade on the sidewalk along College Ave until we reach the sidewalk on the far side of the bus lane. We will then head back into the building for classroom parties. Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th students will parade. Fifth grade students have traditionally watched the parade, but not participated. If weather does not cooperate, we will proceed with parties. If parents come, please make room for the kids to parade through. Also, be aware that we request that only parents who are assisting rooms with parties come to the parties due to space, parking, and safety issues. Parents volunteering must sign in and wear visitor identification. Anyone that comes to the classroom without a badge or sticker will need to return to the office, sign in and get the sticker. In order to preserve instructional time please do not arrive prior to 1:00 pm on this day. We appreciate your assistance with this.If you do not want your student to participate in these activities please make their teacher aware of this ahead of Wednesday. Students may be picked up from school if you do not wish them to participate.
