The Normal Rotary Club is again granting scholarships to high school seniors. Two $1000.00 scholarships are granted to two Normal Community West High School students. The student must be planning to go on to college/university or trade school. We are looking for students who show initiative in their personal life. In addition, the student should be able to demonstrate their involvement in service, citizenship, leadership, and activities. The student does not have to be an academic scholar, but instead should be in the top half (1/2) of their graduating class. Normal Rotary Club members’ sons and daughters are not eligible. In addition, the club has established a $1000.00 Agricultural Scholarship to a 2024 graduating high school senior pursuing a degree in Agriculture. The same qualifications still apply as for the traditional scholarship. There is a separate application for this Scholarship, which is due April 5th. Students who qualify, can apply for both, but can only be awarded one. Students may go to our website: www.normalrotary.org/scholarship/ to apply. Applications are due Friday, March 22nd.
*As always, additional information regarding all of these Announcements is available on Infinite Campus or check your email every Monday or watch the tv’s in the hallways.
