  • Pepper Ridge PTO Meeting - November 10, 2020


    pto clipart Join us for the Pepper Ridge PTO Meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30.  Due to the recent COVID 19 epidemic we will have our meeting virtually.  A link will be sent to parents via Infinite Campus.

    Our meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.

  • PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
    With the switch to hybrid this month, a decision was made to reschedule Parent Teacher Teacher Conferences to Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. Students will not attend school that day. PTC
    As a result of this change, students WILL be in session on Friday, Oct. 23.
    Also, just a reminder that the State of Illinois is celebrating Election Day as a state holiday. Schools will be closed that day.

    Unit 5 will provide grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to any student in need at several locations in the community on Monday and Wednesdays. Times in our neighborhoods are listed below.

    ● Fox Hill Apartments (Fox Hill Circle) (11:15am until 11:35am)

    ● Danbury Court (Basil Way @ Pepper Place) (11:41am until 12:01pm)

    ● Alexander & Grandview Estates (Lindsey @ Dennis Drive) (12:09 pm until 12:29pm)

    ● Maple Grove (Beta & Epsilon) (12:30pm until 12:50pm)

     

    Unit 5 will have three centralized locations open daily from 10:00am -1:00pm


    Cedar Ridge Elementary, 2808 Breezewood Blvd., Bloomington
    Kingsley Junior High, 303 Kingsley St., Normal
    Sugar Creek Elementary, 200 N Towanda Ave, Normal

  • State Farm Grant Program 1


    Do you work for State Farm and volunteer 40 or more hours in a calendar year at Pepper Ridge Elementary?  Or would a team of State Farm employees be willing to work together and volunteer for 40 hours at Pepper Ridge Elementary to earn money for our school?
     
    Through the Good Neighbor Grant Program, the State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm® associate (active employee, agent, or retiree) who volunteered a minimum of 40 hours per calendar year to an eligible school or nonprofit organization. For more program information including eligibility requirements and the link to the application, visit their info page. Good Neighbor Grants are a great way to support your child’s teacher and school!
