Unit 5 will provide grab-and-go breakfast and lunch to any student in need at several locations in the community using school buses on Monday through Fridays from Tuesday, March 31 through Monday, April 6.
We will have three centralized locations open daily from 9-11 am:

Cedar Ridge Elementary, 2808 Breezewood Blvd., Bloomington
Kingsley Junior High, 303 Kingsley St., Normal
Sugar Creek Elementary, 200 N Towanda Ave, Normal

Buses will also stop at 30 locations to distribute meals. Below is a list of where you can get meals.

    Distribution reminders:
    - Please maintain social distancing when picking up meals.
    - Parents, guardians, and students can pick up the meals. All that is needed to receive a “Grab and Go” meal is a student’s name, grade, and school. The child does not need to be present.
    - Anyone feeling ill or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should not attend the meal pick up. If you are unable to access food for your student, please contact your school principal and we will work to connect you with services

  • State Farm Grant Program 1

Do you work for State Farm and volunteer 40 or more hours in a calendar year at Pepper Ridge Elementary?  Or would a team of State Farm employees be willing to work together and volunteer for 40 hours at Pepper Ridge Elementary to earn money for our school?
Through the Good Neighbor Grant Program, the State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm® associate (active employee, agent, or retiree) who volunteered a minimum of 40 hours per calendar year to an eligible school or nonprofit organization. For more program information including eligibility requirements and the link to the application, visit their info page. Good Neighbor Grants are a great way to support your child’s teacher and school!
