  • Walk-A-Thon

Oakdale is bringing back the much loved WALK A THON.
What: To promote physical activity while having fun and raising funds for Oakdale PTO.
    When: October 6th
Why: PTO uses funds raised to support teacher expenses in their classrooms, spirit weeks, teacher appreciation, educational magazine subscriptions and more!
How: Ask family, friends and others to sponsor your walk at Oakdale.

This will be done during the school day. If you are interested in volunteering to help classes during the Walk A Thon, please see the PTO Facebook Page.

The goal is to get each student to bring in $5!
Online donations can be made at https://square.link/u/4DI6PTdV

For every $5 a student brings in they get a raffle ticket to PIE Mr Heimer!

Other Prizes include: Spinning a Mystery Wheel, Extra Recess and a Movie and Popcorn party!

Packets will be sent home on 9/21 for students to have time to get donations.

Please email our PTO at Oakdale.elementary.pto@gmail.com

  • Public Libraries

All Unit 5 students who live in Bloomington or Normal have a public library card through their library.  This card can be used to access physical materials from either library.  It doesn't have to be your home library. You can also access digital content through your home library.  Check out these attachments for more information.
