  • Registration for 2020-2021 information

    As we prepare for school, please make sure you have registered your child online via Infinite Campus For families that are NEW to Unit 5, please reach out to the school office regarding registering of your student(s).  Through Infinite Campus, it is possible to complete all registration processes online, including uploading required documents.  Existing families that need assistance registering can call the school office, 557-4420. For assistance with online registration, you may visit the Unit 5 website by clicking HERE

    For Kindergarten specific registration information, please click HERE.   Additional information that is needed for kindergarten students:  proof of residency (if you are new to Northpoint), certified birth certificate and a physical exam with proof of immunizations (dated on or after 8/19/2019).  Your student must be 5 by September 1, 2020 in order to register for Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.

    School supply kit orders

    If you pre-purchased a school supply kit this spring, we will have a drive through pick up on Monday, August 10th.  Students with last names A-L can pick up kits from 4:30-5:00PM, and last names M-Z can pick up from 5:00-5:30PM.  When coming to the school for pickup, please print the last name of your student on a piece of paper in large print and  display this paper in your car window.  Our volunteers will hand you your kit(s) or put them in your trunk.  Please check your kits at home, and if something is missing we will have a google form link on our webpage to request missing items.  Assignment notebooks for grades 3-5 and quick word books for 2nd grade are available and can be purchased in the pickup line also.  Assignment notebooks are $6 and quick word books are $2.  We can not make change so please have exact cash or a check. Checks can be made to Northpoint Elementary School.


    Drive through backpack pickup

    The Back to School Alliance will host a drive through backpack pickup for all eligible students at Normal West High School on Friday, August 14th from 1-5pm.  This is a free backpack and school supply pickup for all eligible Unit 5 students PreK - 8th grade.  Students must be registered and qualify for free/reduced lunch. USDA food boxes will be available one per family from 1-2pm or while supplies last.


     Before and After school care information

    Y Academy provides a safe, secure, and healthy environment for elementary students when schools are shut down. Through encouraging your child in remote learning, providing unique enrichment opportunities, and developing healthy living habits, Y Academy is a place all children experience achievement, relationship and belonging.     Have you checked out the PTO website?  On the website you can find a variety of PTO resources and information all in one place. It will also be used for your online unraiser donations. Visit it at

     Lunch Times:  

    11:00-11:50   Kindergarten & First grade
    11:30-12:20   Second & Third grade
    12:00-12:50   Fourth & Fifth grade   
    Student lunches are $2.20 this year, milk is $.55.  Visitors wanting to join their students for lunch should call the office before 8:30am to report the number of guest lunches needed. Guest lunches are $2.70 and lunch tickets may be purchased in the office upon arrival.  Please bring exact change.  Thank you!

    Volunteering at Northpoint

    Again this year, all volunteers will complete the online link for volunteer background checks.  The link for the background screening is available on our Northpoint home page, in the Knight Links section.  Renewing volunteers will not receive a new ID badge unless they request one from the office.
