Registration will be open for current Unit 5 students beginning July 3, 2017. Please click HERE to view important documents containing information and instructions on the process.
Additional Registration information
Students that are NEW to Northpoint should plan to attend walk in registration on August 1st. If you have moved from outside of the Unit 5 area, please click HERE to view and print the documents we will need to register you student(s). In order to help facilitate the process, it would be greatly appreciated if you would please print the entire packet and bring it with you already completed to registration. We will need one packet per student being registered. Please bring all required forms of identification with you: certified birth certificate for your child, proof of residency (need TWO different types-see address verification form for types needed), and a physical with immunizations. Fees of $125 per student will also be due at this time (checks may be made payable to Unit 5 or Northpoint Elementary). Please provide exact change if paying with cash.
Families that are currently enrolled at Northpoint do NOT need to attend walk in registration. Please see the above instructions for information regarding online registration. All new families moving into the area should call the McLean County Unit District No. 5 office (309-557-4000) and confirm that your address is in the Northpoint Elementary School boundaries before coming to registration at Northpoint.
Again this year, all volunteers will complete the online link for volunteer background checks. The link for those renewing their background screening is available on our Northpoint home page, in the Knight Links section. Renewing volunteers will not receive a new ID badge unless they request one from the office. All NEW volunteers (those that are new to the school OR have never completed the screening) can email Julie (Watsonjm@myunit5.org) or Kristin (Brandtkm@myunit5.org) for the link to complete the screening.
