Benjamin School Updates

Illinois State Board of Education
We have received word that Northpoint will be a true quad next year for 2010-2011. This means we will have 24 sections next year as compared to the 31 we have currently.
What is next?
Benjamin Elementary School hiring has begun and teachers will be hired within the next few weeks.
What is our projected enrollment?
Our projected enrollment will be around 595ish for 2010-2011

A special note for Walkers, Bike Riders-if you are coming from....
Tipton, Hedgewood , Summerfield-you must walk to the Hedgewood Cross Walk
Eagle Ridge-proceed to school along College and cross at the South Gym crossing walk (new this year) Look for patrols.( If your line up area is on the east side, you must enter the building to get to your area, no walkers will be aloud along the new traffic pattern.
Northpointe, Garling Heights, Parkway Court, Fields-proceed to either the West side or North side sidewalks and enter the building from the West or South- STAY ON SIDEWALKS!
Are you driving but walking your child to the building? You must park in the far eastern parking lot and use the South Gym crossing walk.
