It is time to start thinking about the 2016- 2017 school year!  Unit 5 students will not be allowed to start school without the required immunizations and/or physical exam. No appointment cards will be accepted in place of a completed physical exam form and immunization record. Many immunization laws have changed, including a requirement for the Meningitis vaccine (MCV) for 6th and 12th grade students. For a full list of additional mandates for all grade levels, CLICK HERE. Please check with your child's doctor and make any required appointments now. Last year the health department was booked for the entire month of August by late July. For this reason, we recommend avoiding the last minute rush and scheduling now.

Unit 5 email experienced intermittent outages, as well as voice mail issues, earlier this week. Everything has been restored to working order. Unit 5 will begin a process to move away from our current email platform Microsoft Exchange and is instead moving to Gmail. This move is necessary due to the fact that the current Exchange/Version/Server is past its end-of-life and the performance issues continue to mount. The problems this week further reinforce our decision to make this change. The migration is set to begin summer 2016, and will be completed by August 2016. Thank you for patience as we work through these issues.
