Technology Concepts

Students use self-directed learning at stations that deal with topics in technology. Areas of exploration include alternative energy, architectural design, communication technology, digital electronics, manufacturing technology, material science, and multimedia production. Students will complete numerous hands-on lab experiments dealing with the creation of products, developing models, and presenting technological results. The problem solving process will also be incorporated into the class. This is an explanatory class in technology that can be taken for a semester or for a full year.
