This course builds on the application of knowledge gained during the first level of digital media production. Students will develop new assignments dealing with advanced topics, which will be added to their existing portfolios. Students will assume an area specific responsibility within the technology department. These positions include graphic designer, video producer, webmaster, and animator. Students will work with instructors and fellow team members to develop their correct placement in the assigned role. Projects will include but are not limited to: screen printing, dye-sublimation printing, DVD authoring, video announcements, school-related video creation, instructional video creation, web page construction, and animation projects. This course will only be offered to students that have taken a full year of digital media production. Due to the need for consistency from first to second semester, it is recommended that students take this course for the entire year.
