Hello all!  My name is Nora Bardi and this is my second year working with The Feast!  I really enjoyed my first year with the FEAST and am happy to be returning.  Along with Sue Warren, and Ashley Schnittker, we will be teaching the RtI (Response to Intervention) classes on Tuesday's and Thursday's.  We encourage anyone to join us in our sessions.  Much of the software that we will be teaching is not only available in Special Education classrooms throughout District 87 and Unit 5 but often can be found in General Education classrooms as well.

A little bit about me...

I have worked for Unit 5 for the past 15 years.  12 of those years I taught special education at Normal Community West High School.  While teaching I acquired a love for technology and picked up an additional certificate in Assistive Technology, which means helping special education student's increase their independence and performance through the use of technology.  The last four years I have been the Assistive Technology Coordinator for Unit 5, a job I just love!  I now get to assist and support kids and teachers throughout the district.
