Did you know short-term memory is limited?  That means, you can only fit so much in  when you study.  To free up space and transfer the information to long-term memory sleep is required.  This means nap breaks are great when you are studying and reviewing your notes right before going to sleep at night is ideal!

Current AP students - The final deadline to register for AP exams is Tuesday, February 28!  No late registrations are allowed.  See Ms. White with any questions.  

Have you heard about betabrain?  It is a free science/math/technology/engineering competition for all Unit 5 6th through 12th graders.  The theme for this year is Book Scavenger.  Come challenge your book know-how and puzzle solving abilities!  Register at www.unit5.org/betabrain(Ask your science teacher for more information.)

Attention boys planning to try out for baseball.  Tryouts for Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores begin Monday, February 27.  A detailed schedule is on the Athletic Director's office door.  If you have not done so, please turn in your green clearance slip to Coach Short, Coach Steve or Coach Ross.

Don't miss A Cappella Night tonight at 7 pm in the auditorium!  Come hear our awesomely talented groups Key of She and Voice Male, as well as special guests the Acafellaz and Secondary Dominance from ISU.  Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students.  It's a great night with great music - you don't want to miss it!
