Introduction

You will learn more about the setting of The Pigman's Legacy and take a web tour of New York City and Atlantic City to some of the places John and Lorraine travel  in their adventures.. 

With your teacher, please review your school's acceptable use policy for work on the Internet. Also, links to the web often change. Tell your teacher when you find a poor link in this guide.

The Quest

You will investigate six different areas of New York City and Atlantic City and be able to see how life is in New York and Atlantic City and how it might have been in the story you are reading. As you visit the different sites keep a journal of the places you see. You should have at least one journal entry for each of 5 chosen sites.

After you visit each site, write down your thoughts about the site. Include descriptions of the site, impressions you had or describe some of the people you see there. Have you been there and experience any of the first hand? If so, you can reflect on your real visit or your virtual visit.
