Hi! Just to tell a little
about myself.... I am from Lincoln, IL about 40 miles south of Normal.
I attended college at Eastern Illinois University where I ran track
and field and majored in Elementary Education. I then taught my first
semester out of college at Springfield Southeast High School. I taught
both Algebra and Geometry to freshman and sophomores. I then began
teaching at Stephen Decatur Middle School. This was a great
opportunity for me to teach 8th grade science. I also was teaching on
the team that I did my student teaching. After that I began teaching
at Chiddix in 2001. What a great move for me! I love teaching
and coaching at Chiddix!! (I coach cross-country also so I hope to see
some of you out there this fall!) I also coach track in the spring at
Normal West High School. I have found at Chiddix that not only are the students and staff
awesome but the parent and community involvement is tremendous! I am
definitely looking forward to meeting my new team and having an AWESOME
year! Go Chargers!
