We're having fun in third grade.  We have been so busy since Christmas.  Our Pioneer project is well under way.  We are making covered wagons,  and filling them with everything we would need to start a new life in Illinois.  We learned that not all pioneers traveled in a covered wagon.  Some walked or rode horses.  Others went west by flatboat.

We're rocking and rolling in Science this month.  We've been learning about rocks and minerals.

We continue to learn about the keys to comprehension in Reading.  This month our focus is on making inferences when we read.

Our student teacher Miss McLain is teaching more and more in the classroom.  She is such fun and everyone is learning so much.
