Preschool Storytime will meet at 10 a.m. in the
Story Room at Bloomington Public Library. Help your 3- to 5-year-old
build independent listening skills with our weekly 30-minute storytime
for preschoolers.

Christmas in the Park Through Bloomington Parks and Rec.

Old fashioned holiday
tradition take center stage as Miller Park and the historic Pavillion
are turned into a Christmas Wonderland. Activities will include
musical entertainment, visits and pictures from Santa, crafts, sleigh
rides, storytelling, face painting, holiday coloring, refreshments and
more. Take a break from the holiday rush and enjoy and

Flu Clinic!! |

OSF PromptCare locations
will offer walk-in flu vaccine clinics during regular hours beginning
Oct 1 for high-risk patients, including children 6 months to 5 years
old, pregnant women, people older than age 50, people who live in
nursing homes, and people with chronic illnesses. Beginning Oct 15, the
general public can obtain flu vaccine at any PromptCare location in
town. Other county health departments and medical clinics have scheduled
some clinic dates; for more specific info regarding those, please
contact that particular organization. |

2009 Parent Expo
at Prairieland Elementary School March 14, 2009 |

The 2009 Parent Expo
will be held Sat, March 14, 8am-1pm, at Prairieland Elementary
School, Normal. Free sessions on parenting children (ages 12 and under)
will include topics on childhood education & development, health and
behavior. The keynote presentation will be on the affects of media and
violence on our children.
