This is your time to work, to practice, to "test-drive" using technology in the classroom.  Below you will find guidelines to the project, as well as links and lists of resources available to you now and in the future.  this is your chance to create your own PLAN for integrating technology with and into the curriculum.

Guidelines for the PLAN:

Note: This PLAN may be global and broad in perspective, in order to cover your plans for technology integration over the course of a unit, quarter, or year.  A PLAN may also be narrow and specific in focus, covering a certain lesson or series of lessons.  As a result of this course you should develop a broad, global, long-range plan as well as a specific plan for a certain lesson or series of lessons.

P: [purpose]

  • What is the purpose of this technology integration?  Why are you doing it?  Do not do technology for the sake of technology!  Use it to motivate, facilitate, differentiate, and all those other "ates".

L: [lessons/learning goals]

  • What lessons will you be planning and presenting to integrate this technology?  It may involve technology lessons as well as "curricular" lessons.

A: [applications]

  • What technology applications and hardware will be required to complete this integration?  Do you still need to learn any of it?  By when?

N: [needs]

  • What resources and items do you need to complete this integration?  How will you get them? When? Where?
