Chess Books and Resources

Following is a listing of chess books and resources that will help new and experienced chess players alike.

Many of these books and more are available at the Prairieland Library (and I'm sure other local libraries as well). The chess club also owns a copy of each of the books mentioned below, if you'd like to take a look at them before purchasing or borrowing.

Chessmaster 10th Edition Amazon.com Great computer program for learning to play chess. Great lessons for new and experienced players alike. You can easily find this software at any local store or online.
United States Chess Federation www.uschess.org Includes many chess resources.

The sections I visit most often include the USCF shop (where you can find a lot of the books mentioned above and more) and the Scholastic section (which is where our chess players are part of)
