How to Play Ultimate Frizbee

    This is how to play Ultimate Frizbee. First, you will need a frizbee, four or more players and two goals. Set up the goals about a soccer-field length apart. Now, separate the teams and a goalie for each team. The goalies stand in the goals. Here are the rules, no taking the frizbee out of other people’s hands, no kicking the frizbee, and no hitting. To score a goal, you have to throw the frizbee into the goal. Now you are ready to play Ultimate Frizbee.

The Skunk

          The skunk is a fascinating animal.  It lives in a unique habitat, has adapted many survival skills, and has other interesting qualities.

          The skunk lives in a unique habitat.  It lives throughout the U.S. and Southern Canada.  The skunk is able to live in all sorts of places like deserts, forests, grasslands, and open woodlands.  It can even live in towns and cities!

          The skunk has many adaptations that help it survive.  Amazingly it stays awake almost all year and rarely falls into a winter sleep.  It uses its nose to dig up insects in the dirt.  It sprays a smelly liquid called “musk” from about 15 feet away to keep away predators.  The musk smells of rotten eggs, garlic, and burnt rubber.

          There are other neat facts that make the skunk a special animal.  There are 11 types of skunks.  Skunks have poor eyesight so they rely on their senses of hearing and smelling. 

          The skunk is quite an animal.  Its habitat and adaptations make it unique. Can you believe a skunk can reach three feet in length?

My Family

My family is amazing. My dad, Scott, works at BroMenn. There, he fixes computers. It is a very hard job. He is also on jury duty. Because he is on jury duty that means that he gets home late. My mom, Erin, works at Lewis, Yockey & Brown, Inc. She works hard on designing roads. She is also very loving and so is my dad and my little brother, Daniel. Daniel is annoying when copies me. He can also be fun like when he plays Pillow Pile with me. To play Pillow Pile, we gather all the pillows in the house and put them in the living room. I make a pile, and we both jump into it. My family likes to do a lot of things together. We eat dinner together in the dining room. My dad and I read Harry Potter at bedtime. We are reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We also take walks together. My family vacations together. We have gone to Walt Disney World, Wisconsin Dells, and Chicago. We are going to Walt Disney World this year in December. I will not go if I have bad grades. I love my family.
