Alexandra's Writing How to Swim This is how you learn to swim. First, you need a pool. Next, you need a swim suit. You also need some goggles. The first step is to get in the shallow end where you can stand. Then try floating on your back. Lay on your back and relax. Then get a kick board. Float and kick your legs. Then put the kick board up and float on your stomach. Kick and move your arms like a windmill. And that’s how you swim.
The Turtle The turtle is a fascinating animal. It lives in a unique habitat has adapted many survival skills, and has other interesting qualities. The turtle lives in a cool habitat. It is found near land and water. It lives in North America and Mexico. It lives where it is warm and never cold. The turtle has many adaptations that help it survive. The turtle has a shell that keeps it from getting hurt. It can live in the water up to five years. The turtle mostly lives in Mexico. There are other neat facts that make the turtle a special animal. The turtle lays hundreds of eggs each year. Turtles don’t have teeth they use there bones. They have yellow lines that tell there names. The turtle is quite an animal. Its habitat and adaptations make it unique. Can you believe that the shell is armor for the turtle?
Dreams When I sleep I have a picture in my mind. I stay asleep until my mom comes and gets me. The things that are in my mind are dreams. Dreams are things you think of when you are sleep. All of the dreams are a chain that forms a box of questions in your mind, like what was that? or something else.
My Family My family has many different people. It is really hard to name them all. My mom’s name is Patty. She has a sister named Yolanda. My aunt’s family has six people in it. My cousin’s wife is expecting twins in January. Patty also has a brother named John. Uncle John has five people in his family. My dad’s name is Mark. My dad has a sister named Karyn. My grandparents are Flora and George. My grandma has four sisters and one brother. I like to visit Uncle Victor. I have a brother named George. He’s five years older than me. He annoys me a lot. I have two dogs. I got a new one five days ago. Her name is Roxy. She is playful. I like to play with her. My other dog’s name is Tate. We call him Tatertot. My name is Alex. I have this big family. It is fun when they come over. We like to watch Design Star on HGTV. We also like to go to the movies. We love going to baseball games together. We love going camping. We go to DQ together. We love to play with the new dog, Roxy. She is 18 months old. She is playful. She comes to us when we eat dinner. I love to play with her all the time and Tatertot. I Love To Be With My Family!!!!!
