Our
Computers
Technology
has altered the direction of education.
Parkside's library is preparing our
students for the future by implementing
new technologies into the curriculum.
The
library is fully automated using an
online catalog. The students use
computer terminals to look for their
library books. Library books are
checked out using the Gateway Library
Management Program.
Two IBM
computer labs are located in the
library. Teachers bring their
classes to the labs to do word
processing, class projects, graphic
arts, and research in all subject areas.
Both labs are connected to our school
wide network which has access to the
Internet as well as various online
services. Additional software
is available as well as a number of
online databases. Digital cameras
and scanners are available for student
and staff use.
