Dear Pepper Ridge Families,  

      With the month of March, comes the much awaited testing season.  The students of Pepper Ridge will be testing during a two week period from March 1-12.  The teachers at Pepper Ridge have worked hard to put activities and reinforcers in place that will motivate students to try their best.  Students in Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade will take the ISAT.  Snacks will be offered throughout the testing period.

      During this time, it is critical that parents do their part as well.  Please make sure that your children get a full night’s rest.  Studies show that elementary students need at least 10 hours of sleep each night.  It is also very important that students eat a healthy breakfast full of proteins and fruits.  Research has shown that eggs and blueberries are an excellent source of brain food!  I have included a few other test  tips on page three of this newsletter!
