Teacher Page This Web Quest was modified for use with  fourth and fifth grade classes learning about the three branches of government, although it could easily be adapted for use in other grade levels. The activities have been designed to be completed in a two week timeframe, allowing approximately 40 minutes of working time each day. It may take more or less depending on your time allowance. Group size can also vary according to your classroom needs. If groups do not have three members, the jobs detailed on the process page will need to be shared accordingly. To complete this Web Quest, students must have a background knowledge of map skills and creation of maps, including scale of miles, map key, and compass rose. Allowing students to share personal experiences would also be helpful.
