Task The members of Congress are so glad that you have accepted the responsibility of designing this new monument. They want you to get started right away.  You will be working as a team researching the three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.  It is your responsibility to learn all that you can about the role of each branch.  Keeping what you have learned in mind, your group will create a project (a model, poster, drawing, PowerPoint, etc.) of the design for your monument. Your group will also write a 5 paragraph expository piece which will be placed at the entrance for visitors to read. The Congressional members also want to know the exact placement of your monument on the Washington Mall, so you must include a map of the mall, showing where you plan to build your design.
