| The purpose of this Unit 5 Professional Development Academy class is to create opportunities for IMC specialists and classroom teachers to work together to create meaningful projects. Working together will enhance the classroom curriculum by adding a touch of technology, creating time for research with library resources, and a number of other benefits. Through this class we will review the current standards for technology and classroom learning, become familiar with the software currently available to Unit 5 teachers, find resources for lesson plan ideas, and create a lesson connecting the classroom and IMC learning. We have designed a co-planning template and lesson plan template specifically for this purpose. Lessons that are developed during this class will be published for public use. |
