What is the ACT?
"The ACT Assessment Test is designed to assess high
school students' general educational development and their
ability to complete college-level work.
The tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics,
reading, and science reasoning. Some colleges and
universities use the test results to help gauge a students
placement and qualifications to attend their
institution."

The ACT at Unit 5
Due to the P.S.A.E. testing
scheduled for April 25 and 26, which includes a required ACT
for all juniors, Unit 5 discourages high school juniors from
taking the ACT. If a national test date is desired, June 9,
September 22 or October 27 are recommended.
