All About Jerry Spinelli

Here's some information about our project...

Hannah Endrizzi, Claire Troyer, and Kendall Gilliam developed a web page on Jerry Spinelli.  First, we wrote a letter to Jerry Spinelli himself telling him what we were planning on doing, and asking him to tell us how he got inspired to write books.  We used the computer to find information. We asked students about what they think of technology.   We found that there is nothing really designed for kids to use online.  So we decided to create a web page that would be able to be utilized by students and teachers everywhere.  After reading his books and researching, we began to create our own activities and games that can be used with Spinelli books.  We made games and activities like Jeopardy, word searches, cross word puzzles, and things like that.  We worked very hard on this project.  We did all activities on paper first and then learned how to transfer them into a web page editor.  Our result is what you see on the screen!
