Awards Jerry Has Won...
Jerry Spinelli received the Southern
Utah University Author's Award in 1992. In 1997 he was awarded the Drexel
University Children's Literature Citation. He won the Milner Award in1998. In
2000, he got the Anne V. Zarrow Award and the Honorary Doctor of Literature,
Western Maryland college. In 2001, Jerry Spinelli received the Miglior Autore
Award from Andersen Magazine. In 1991, he won a Newberry Medal for Maniac Magee.
Wringer, was a Newberry Honor Book in 1997.
