A Bit about
Me:
|
I am the IMC
Specialist at Northpoint Elementary School in Unit 5. I have been in
Unit 5 for 15 years, with a 2 year stint in Systems at State Farm. I
have been in the IMC for 11 years. I started in Unit 5 as a
Math/Language Arts teacher at PJHS. I have taught just about every age group over the past 30 years from Preschool to College Students. My favorite job is what I am doing now...working with Elementary Students, books, and computers! What more fun can you have in a day. I am the mother of 3 daughters. My oldest daughter, Susan is a graduate student at Princeton Theological Seminary. I also have twins that are 23. Kathleen is working in Chicago at Smith-Bucklin on Michigan Avenue and living in Downers Grove. Her twin, Kelly is living in Bloomington, is Mom to the cutest grandson Carter, and working at State Farm. My husband, Rick is the pastor of The First Presbyterian Church of Danvers. |

Areas of
Interest at the Feast: |
This is my second
year at the feast as a trainer...When I attended as a participant,
I thought it was one of the best tech trainings I had been to, so I hope
you find it great too! I enjoy integrating technology in my teaching, so I would be happy to visit with you if you want ideas of how to use what you are learning. I enjoy web design and using SMART technologies. |
| Summer Reading: | I
would not be a good librarian if I didn't suggest some summer reading.
This is what is on my list: Shadow of Thieves (bookclub pick) The London Eye Mystery (Reading Unites book) The White Giraffe The American Wife
